Basically, the recipe is an extension of the popular veg fried rice with a topping of marinated paneer cubes. The main reason is the combination of paneer with stir-fried veggies and rice. I personally like this recipe for 2 reasons. One has my favorite ingredient i.e. paneer and second, the recipe is as a stir fry of paneer. I am not a huge fan of simple fried rice recipe by itself.
